Leather seating surfaces come standard. Optional sport seats with perforated leather inserts offer six way power adjustment for both driver and passenger, plus lumbar and bolster adjustments.

The powertrain on the C6 has been modified for the ultimate performance driving experience.  There is a whole new world awaiting past corvette owner's as well as new experiences.

The powertrain offers these  innovations:

  • New LS2 small block V8 - the largest and most powerful standard Corvette engine ever, (when equipped with the Z51 package) allows for a top speed of 186 mph, with 400 hp at 6000 rpm and 400 lbs ft. of torque.  It features a 10.9:1 compression ratio for enhanced power and efficiency. That's an 80 hp advantage over the higher priced Porsche 911.
  • The standard transmission is a Tremec 6-speed short throw manual. A highly refined version of the previous 6-speed.  Two sets of gear ratios available for maximum acceleration.  Computer aided gear selection enhances fuel economy.  An optional 4L65E automatice transmission is also available.



Covette Magnasteer speed sensitive steering provides more assist at lower speeds and firmer more precise control at highway speeds


Porsche and BMW cannot come close to the new vette in performance and handling.

The C6 Corvette offers Magnetic Selective Ride Control which ups the handling ante even further while providing a high level of ride comfort that's unexpected in a performance car.  It's the fastest variable dampening technology available, capable of reacting to changes in road surface over 60 times per second.

The optional Z51 Performance Handling Package adds stiffer springs and stabilizer bars, specific shock absorbers, larger brakes with cross-drilled rotors and high performance linings, specfic Goodyear Eagle EMT F1 Supercar tires and Z06 inspired ratios in the transmission.

The new corvette is rear wheel drive, with a 105.7 in wheel base. It has a 39 ft turning radious.  With a 37.9 inches of headroom there's enough space to look around and the 43.1 inches of leg room is the best of it's class.

The C6 comes with 18 X 8.5 front and 19 X 10 rear aluminum wheels standard. 18 X 8.5 front and 19 X 10 rear polished aluminum wheel available.  Tires are P245/40ZR18 front and P285/35ZR19 in the rear. The vehicle also has a tire pressure monitoring system standard.
